BRAWL LANDS VISITOR IN JAIL. Considerably liquor- a up with rum which he admitted he brought with him from Philadelphia, Chas. A WORD TO THE PUBLIC. There hat been complaint during the season of the poor ga* service ren dered by the Frairs Ga* npany, of New Jertty, supplying Sea Isle City. The officers of the company have been making every effort to improve this service; while they believe that it compared favcably with the service in other seashore resorts from Atlantic City south, nevertheless take this mean* of aiking the public to exerci*# a little more patience, realizing that we are doing all in our power to give the beat service posaible. Investigation the past week haa proven tlut much of the difficulty lies in the adjjstment of the gas range* of the coniumrrs. In many instances we found he ranges clogged with sediment that prevented a norm -> (low of ga* to the burners. Such instances as have rome to our attention we have corrected, and will be pleated to correct other*, without charge, as they are brought to our notice During the past year the officers of the company have experienceil dlffi cultiea wi>h labor, supplic. and general financial conditions that have prevenetd ua, despite our best efforts, from giving the service we know you are entitled to. and we are taking steps to so mlarge our equipment and repair our mains that hereafter continuous twclve-month-in-the-year acivice can be expected, and will be given. With full appreiation of youi kind tolerance in the times of stress during the peak of the load of consumption thia summer, when we realize there was cause for complaint at times, we are. Respectfully yours, FRAIRS GAS COMPANY, By C. H. Frairs, President.
