Director Chapman report-j ed that he would recommend the erec- j tion < t a building to be built from old [ Boardwalk material, to bouse the new sefrage disposal plant machinery. His recoininendatiun was adapted. Mr. Chapman also reported the clearing up of practically all the debris on the beech front. Considerable time was taken up in the Finance Department. Considerable interest is manifest in an experiment to !>•• tried by a Millville corporation, which proposed to erect a paper pulp mill along the Menantico Creek and convert the pin® woods into pulp and l ine oils for commercial uses. Ti. - project i''dudes the damming of the Mmantico Creek to provide water power for the mill and for floating down the logs. The cutting rights to timber on a 2000acre tract have been secured. An auditor of the American Expres.Co. has been In Wildwood for the past iwo weeks examining into the a< counts of ihe local expre-s office, says the Wildwood Journal, where a short age in money exists. The report on the street this week put the shortage as high as *11.000. but it develops that so far it is *3.500. w hich sum has been or will b.- made good. The local express agent for the past year has been K G. Slaughter, general manager of the Wildwood and Delaware Bay Short Line Railroad Latimer R.
