WILDWOOD GOLF COURSE WILL OPEN ALL WINTER Green Fee Reduced to 31 Until Next June; Membenhips Good Through 182S The Wildwood Golf Course will be open during tbe winter months and the Course wtn be open for playing to any person residing in Cape May County upon the payment of a reduced green fee, which will be $1.00 from October 1. 1922 to June 1.1923. Any person taking a membership, in the Club at this time will be entitled to all the privileges of the Club and Course for the balance of 1922 and the entire year of 1923. This membership, which Includes man and wife, costs $25.00 entrance fee and $50.00 annual dues. Monday. The donors were: D. B. Robertson, of Cleveland. O.. $250; and Prosecutor John O. Burk hard donated $109. while the candidate himself forwarded $900.

The Board of Freeholders met at Cape May Court House on Tuesday. September 19th. and chiefly discussed ways and means of hastening the building of the bridge to connect North Wildwood with the Main Senshore Road, by way of the new road to Burleigh. The road is now completed both sides of Grassy Sound Channel, and lacks only the bridge to make the connection complete. County Engineer R. Fendall Smith, who had previously estimated the cost of this bridge to be $185,052.02. stated that bis estimate would have to be increased by $4,000. making the estimated cost of the construction $190,052.02. A motion was adopted to send the County Solicitor. Pssmer M. Way. and the County Engineer to Washington to personally appear before the War Department to secure the right to build the bridge, and to go before the State Highway Department. at Trenton, to sec 're the promised State aid is flrandng the work. The County Engineer has the plans ready for the bridge work, but the approval of the State and Federal government* must be procured before bids can be advertised for.
