Dear Mr. Editor:

May I take occasion, through the columns of your very excellent paper to express my thanks and appreciative voters of Cape May County for their support of my candidacy at the Primary election? While I had no opposition In the nomination, yet I am so happily gratified with the very flattering complimentary vote which I received, that I wish to make grateful acknowledgement to the Republican voters of my district for the magnificent expression of support accorded me snd I shall make every earnest snd honest effort to-continue to merit that support snd friendship by a renewal of my oft repeated promise to continue to serve my constituents In all things to the very beet of my humble ability. Now that the primaries are over. It becomes the duty of all true Republicans to forget any differences or animosities that may have Intruded during the primary campaign, and to rally to the united support of the Republican candidates. The people of the State have spoken. and I indorse, without reservation or qualification, every candidate 'hat lias been nominated on the Republi cap ticket as It affects the DUtrict which I represent snd the State snd

Nation in general.

The eyas of the country are focused on New Jersey; we have much hard work to do to overcome the opposition. The return of Senator Frellngbuysen to the United States Sen ate; the election of Senator Ruryon ss Governor of our State, as well as the election of our candidates to the National House of Representative*, our candidal** to the State Legislature. snd our candidates for County and Municipal offices, are all necessary for the absolute success of the Republican Party, and an expression of confidence in the administration of President Harding. 1 hope that during the few weeks malnlng before the general elections I may be able to personally rlsII eterr ovaumunlty In my district, nt Which Mine | ,^*11 be happy to pre- ‘ ‘o the people of the District the ipllahmeats of the present National Adminlstra'lon. which I per•onally believe to be sufficient to warrant the commendation and spprovsl of the people of the country expressed by the election of all Republican candidates for office.

Very truly your*.
