The Sea Isle City Board of Comilsaloners, last week, noUfled the bonding company which furnished bond for the faithful completion of the Jetty by Contractor William Darla, of Ocean City, tha* the contractor bad quit work and the time for the completion of the work bad long since expired. This is for the Jetty on the beach front at Matilda street. Commissioner Sofroney reported that the work of the repair of the Central avenue sewer, near the disposal plant, waa all completed as far

George Seeder was elected President to serve until the annual meeting next year. Other officers elected were: Maurice M. Sofroney. Vice-President; Thomas E. Ludlam. Jr.. Secretary: William Buckley. Treasurer; Irving Fitch, John Maher and C. W. Travis. Trustee* The elections In every case were unanimous. Called upon for a speech. President Soeuer said that his remarks would he few. and they were. He said ‘Tf there Is anyone In this room who is not a member of the Chamber of Commerce, this Is the time to join.
