The L. Russell Henry Poet, Number 810, of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, which was organised in Ocean City in August of 1811 by Maurice L- Wrlgglns. an ex-service man of many years in governmental service, now boasts one of the finest drum and bugie corps in the State, and probably In a number of other states. The Ocean City branch of the organisation. membership of which sts only of ex-service served honorably in the United States Army. Navy or Marine Corps In foreign service. The local poet was started with fifteen men on the charter and has grown to a point where there are forty-seven men enrolled l They are doing excellent for the ex-servlee man and are a credit to the public they have, at us times, represented in military fashion. The post members meet in the rooms for members of the Ocean City Fire Department on the second and fourth Friday of every month. Initiation fee amounts to three dollars and the dues are twenty-five cents each month. The drum and bugle Corps, a pic-

The musical division of the Henry m>et Is under the direction of Wrlgglns. This drum corps was in the parade in Ocean City on Halloween and greeted with rounds of applause. On Armistice night the outfit went to Cape May. When the State Encampment of the Veterans of Foreign Wars bold their sessions in June, it la sxpected that the drum and bugle corps will participate.
