Ube new structure will be situated on the Old Camp Grounds between Fifth and Sixth streets. Superintendent Stevens was also asked what the Board of Education intended to make out of the old High School Building on Central avenue between Eighth and Ninth streets. In the past, the several hundred Mgh school pupils as well aa almost 1. ree hundred other elementary r.u-de.-u. have been housed in this building, and during the past' two years It has been very over-crowded. To relieve this condition the City Solons decided on a new High School, pt which time the Junior High School plan will be Inaugurated Into the new structure. According to Superintendent Stevens the old High School Building will be turned over to thw elementary grades to assist in caring tor the already over-crowded condition which now exists In the Fourth Street Grammar School. At the present time there are about three hundred high school students In the old High School, including fifty who dally ccsue from Sea Isle City. A resolution by Director Kay provided that the office of the Farm Demonstrator rad the County Bouid of Taxation be moved to the Hoffman Building on Mechanic street. Court House, and gave powev to Director Foster to lease the upper floor of that building at a rental of *16 a month. The reeoJution also provided that the offices vacated by the Farm Bureau rad the Tax Board, in the Court House Building, be altered a cost not to exceed *600 for the » of the Board and the Board’s officers. /The Clerk, Collector rad other Freeholder officers, and all County records will be housed in these ofA resolution by Director Kay provided that the Board place a double page advertisement in the SeasonOpening Edition of the CAPE MAY COUNTY TIMES, the same as in previous years, at a coat of *100 per page.
