I HEREWITH CERTIFY TO THE FACT THAT I WITNESSED A GASOLINE ECONOMY TEST ui 1 THREE GRAY TOURING CABS ON THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 23d, 1922, WHICH WAS CONDUCTED Z1 THE FOLLOWING MANNER: THE GAS TJME WAS DISCONNECTED FROM THE CARBURETOR AND THE MOTOR RAN UNTIL THE GASOLINE REMAINING IN THE CARBURETOR WAS EXHAUSTED. A TUBE FROM A GLASS CONTAINER ATTACHED TO EACH CAR WAS THEN CONNECTED TO THE CARBURETOR. THIS WAS THE ORLY SOURCE OF SUPPLY TO THE CARBURETOR. I CAREFULLY PLACED ONE QUART OP ORDINARY GASOLINE, WHICH I SAW PURCHASED AT A PUBLIC GAS STATION, IN EACH CONTAINER. THE MEASURING DEVICE THAT I USED WAS A VERY ACCURATE AMD SENSITIVE INSTRUMENT AND ABSOLUTELY CORRECT.
