The system has its own electrical energy, not depending on any outside source. This electrical energy is installed inside the cabinet as is everything else connected with the system, except the three big alarm gonga. Tbe alarm consists of two ten-inch bronze metal gongs, in shields, located on the side of the cabinet, and a twenty-inch, fifty pound bronze gong in a housing, located on the front of the building. Any tampering with these gongs, or any part of their enclosures, will turn in an alarm. The safe cabinet itself is protected on tbe inside with a double steel plate lining for tbe open circuit, with a continuous grid of leadfoU strips for the closed citgait; this lining covers the floor, ceiling, walls and door, not a square inch being left unprotected.
