On Way From Seaville Camp Meeting When Cur Hits Soft Place in Bo

Three men. two of whom ministers, were injured on Tuesday morning when their automobile turned turtle on the highway running through Woodbine. All were thrown from the car. They were on their way to Tuckahoe from 'the South Seaville Camping Ground*. Tbe Injured are: Rev. Thomas Parke*, driver, sustained cute and brutees on the hands and body. Rev. L. L. Hand, fractured arm and Internal Injuries, and 4 Walter Opt. of Pleasaatrills, cute on hie hands by tbe ffjTng glass. They were taken the nearby home of Dave Chlngritne. who aumanoned Dr. Eugene The accident occurred while the three were conversing and a Urge touring car suddenly came out of a small road. Dr. Parker drove right quickly and struck a soft spot the road which caused the car to

turn over.

Walter Hagen and Joe Kirkwood, the two famous golfers, played Jim Young, the local pro and Ker ry Williams. the Llnwood Country Club pro. In an exhibition match last Saturday afternoon at tbe Wildwood Golf Club. The golfers more than lived up to expectations. Hagei established a new course record when be shot the eighteen holes In 71. or one under par. Kirkwood waa but two strokes behind. The pair easily won the match. Jimmy Young, the Wildwood Club professional, made a very creditable showing when he shot the course In 80. With the exception of the tricky fifth hole and tpe flft*nth. all were shot 6's and Young was at the champion's heels at all times. Young's partisans were delighted i he won the first hole with e three. On thU hole, after a drive, he dropped his second a tow feet from t.ie pin. After shooting the first hole in par he g . In trouble on the second hole where he took a etx. From there on he was very erratic. He picked up on the seventh and seventeenth hole. Williams' total of 90 strokes Is plenty evidence of an off day. The feature that most attracted the large gallery was -he terrific driving of Kirkwood, Hagyi and Young. In many cases, especially on the "dog leg" holes, the players Ignored the fairway and played diagonally across the rough to save strokes. A short drive, hook or slice on the tenth bole, where the players played over several mounds, a creek and a pile of pipes would have inflicted a heavy penalty. The players not only reached the fairway but several drove into .he rough beyond which was about 250 yards from the tee. The score of each player waa as follows:
