2138 North delphia. a stenographer employed by s law firm la the Land Title Building, was drowned while bathing in an unguarded portion of the beach at Wildwood Crest, Monday. Miss Buekly and friends went to Wildwood Crest Saturday for a two weeks' vacation. She and three companions went iaio the water on Monday morning at the foot of la tender Road, which haa pot been recognised this season as a bathing place. Mias Buddy was unable to withstand tha undercurrent, which swept her far out- Frank Rowe and Lewis Barnes, two of bar companion*, made' « vain effort to rescue the girt. Howe wan so exhausted he had to b* revived oh the bsadli. The body was sent to the morgue at Wildwood Crest.
