Monday afternoon, which saved fretn certain death two young men visitors at that resort. The two young men, whose name* are unknown, got into difficulties in the surf oil Stone Harbor and were so completely exhausted that they were unconscious when brought in bx Mias Markland and another bathed and had to be worked over by a doctor for nearly half an hour before being brought to consciousness. Mias Markland had motored to Stone Harbor from here with Mias Elia Hampton to Malt an aunt who has a cottage there for the summer. While about the cottage around four o'clock in the afternoon she waa at-i tracted by two bathers who seemed to be In distress. Little attention waa paid to them at first as the swimmers who were to be men. seemed to be Joking. Then it was realised that the men ere really in difficulty and Miaa Markland, who was in her bathing suit, and n man who waa bathing nearby Jumped Into the ocean and went after the floundering bathers. The men were caught in a strong undertow and being poor swimmers were unable to get in.
