Dr. John B. Handley, pastor of V . Piret Methodist Church, of this city, attaaded the conrentlon of the Twen-ty-ninth Division, known as the “Blue aad the Gray Division.” at Atlantic City, on the Steel Pier. This division was compered of troops from New Jersey. Delaware, Rhode Island, District of Columbia and Maryianu. A company in this division was recruited entirely from Ocean City. Dr. Handley waa serving os a ohaptsln attached to the Ultu Regiment. Heavy Field Artillery, end quite a few local boys were members of this. He spent a busy time renewing acquaintances at the convention.
