Mrs. John Powell won the prise as the most original costume. The most unique prize was won by a Mayrille tot, Marie Williams, who wss dressed as the litUe red school house. The Fiji Islanders received second prize In the group class. Mr*. Thomas Ludlam and Mrs. William Haffert of Sea Isle City, won the prise as tbe beet couple. They were costumed as k- colored bride and groom, and gave a clever exhibition

of cake walking.

In addition to the cash prise tbe Queen of tbe Carnival was tbe recipient of many gifts from the farmers living along Shore Road, which Included a bushel of white potatoes, a bushel of sweet potatoes, baskets of
