A communication from the State Highway Commission allotted to Cape May County, fro State funds for road work during 1924, the sum of $86,898. or 3.828 per cent, of the toUl of $2,600,000 collected by the SUte from motor license fees. In an effort to reconcile the con' tract of the Hill Dredging Company, on the Grassy Sound to Burleigh Road with that of Carl R. Camp, contractor on the Grassy Sound and Mill Tall Creek bridges, both Mr. Camp and Mr. Elton Risley. of the Hill Dredging Company, were requested to attend the Board meeting, and both appeared before the Board. The Hill Dredging Company Is building the road, and have been held up on the work because of Are destroying one of the Company's sand dredges- This, in turn, caused a hold-up on Mr. Camp's contract for the building of Mill Tall Creek Bridge. The matter was settled by agreement that the Hill Company would quit work on January 10th, to let Mr. Camp build his bridge, and would then go back and put the AnIsiilng touches to the road. This road and the bridges, when completed, will provide a short cut from the mainland to North Wildwood and
