The choir of the First Baptist Church performed a delightful cantata originally written by C. Harold Ixiwdcn at the Christmas services. The tile was "Tidings of Joy.” Clinton 1). Lowden directed the affair and the tremendous success It achieved was due to his masterly management. Among the participants were: Miss Marlon Osier, soprano: Mrs. A. Randolph Fogg, contralto: Dr. J. Thornley Hughe*, tenor; Edward C. G. Hogan, bass. There were also several selections given by the choir. There were three anthems entitled: “Shout Aloud Hosanna." by C.
