Strand Has Opening Dance A very successful opening night was had by the new Strand Cafe, situated underneath the Strand Hotel at Ninth Street and Wesley Avenue, last Saturday evening. A very succensful cake sale was held at Pc well's Market, last Friday, by the ladies of the resort Order of the Eastern Star. A large number of cakes and other delicacies were disposed of and a substantial sum of money realised from the sale. Miss Martha B. Mayberry and Mias Sarah E. Mayberry, of the Mayberry Hotel. Eighth Street tnd Wesley Avenue, will leave for St. Petersburg. Florida, about the middle of this month, and probably spend the remainder of the winter there.
