He gained a reputation through the County as an athlete and number of years has been a consistent performer for the Wildwood basketball team He al ways was a hard fighter in all contests and did know what the word quit meant, example of this was exhibited during an interview between the writer and Delaney last Tuesday afternoon at his home in Wildwood. the cement stucco. To apply stucco with satisfaction certain essentials must be considered. First U a proper mix; second, proper foundatinn to set on. and third, that under no circumstances should water be allowed to get behind the stucco, for this Inevitably causes it to de-

teriorate.

Kellastone Stucco as applied on tbe TIMES* Building is composed of caustic magnesli. or oxy-cbloride cement, and is known as a magnasite stucco. Tbe composition is partially dissolved In water. After the Bisbiporic Board or lathe is thoroughly set. which is either done with a brush or spray pump, the mixture is applied. The first coat should not be less than one-, quarter of an inch in thickness, j Immediately after the first coat is applied it should be scratched brushed with a broom. This furnishes a surface for the second coat to grip. The second coat Is applied immediately after the first coat has set. The pebbles, which can be obtained in varied colors, are next applied with a paddle. The life of stucco is indefinite, he stated, and the beautiful appearance that it lends a building can be obtained in no other way. He called attention to the fact that the cost of painting during tbe lifetime of a building will pay the cost of

stuccoing many times.

In reply to the question if one coat of rtucco was successful, he stated tha: be never curing his experience ' »own of such a Job being satis-1 r. This ttODUlar CfiTit ray-la-.. , ^

its lost ground, and the Sea Isle City Review was forced to a steady de cllne. and lu opposition became weak. Leonard I. 3ussy, since deceased, was at that time owner of the Review Mr. Twitchell retained the presidency of the TIMES' Company until his death, when his stock intereeu. amounting to all but two shares, was purchased by William A. Haffert. the present editor of the TIMES and president of the Company. New equipment was then purchased and the building enlarged. The Sea Ule City Review was purchased by the TIMES in 1918, and a consolidation

was effected.

Today the TIMES has a larger circulation than any other newspaper In Cape May County, and has one of the most completely and finely equipped printing hooves in the State, thanks to the splendid patronage of tbe bus! ness interests of the County, and to their response to the "Do It Better" policy which governs every action of

the management.
