I T is the p^phalt ccturatioo which changes felt into roofing. Unsaturated or "dry” asbestos or rag. felt will not stop water. It is the asphalt coating on the Carey fdt which makes it doubly water-resisting; and the asphalt cement mopping between the coated sheets which makes built-up roofing the roof with the largest percentage of actual water and weather-resisting materials. Carey asphalt does not run in the hottest sun temperature, nor crack in cold weather, nor dry out with the rapidity of other waterproofing substitutes. That’s why we apply and recommend it.
