The natural and logical result of this la that either the municipal work Is badly neglected, or a group in council get* control and resorts to graft of all sort to get the compel Uon, which under Commission Government Is honestly earned In salary. There are exceptions, of course. But they are few. • In Sea lele City it ts to be hoped that the substantial dtlsens and taxpayers will rally around the present form of Government. If they are dissatisfied with the present City Commission era, they can exprecr .hie dissatisfaction at the polls next JJay when the Commissioners now in office will, no doubt, come up for reelection. But to let met dissatisfaction. if there be anf. the reason for changing to the CounciImanlc Government would probably be a

But why disturb a condition tha is at present very satisfactory, and has been for fifty years? If the City of Ocean City protects the South Ocean City station from the ravages of the ocean, what logical arg iment L there for it being removed Strathmere. or ot the north Sea Isle City station being abolished? The slight extra cost in maintaining two station* where one would probably do the work is so infinitesimal when compared to the total nervice cost that it Is not even to be considered, •■specially In view of the mare efficient service that the two stations

could give over one.
