Ocean City, was celebrated early In the week at Red Men’s Hall, with about 150 present The celebration opened wltfl community singing with Ml* Ethel Lee at the piano. Rev. William B. Maxon. of Hopewell. N. J.. State Master of Forms, was one of the main speakers. Luther T. Wallace, Jr., welcomed the memben and rial tor* Mies Betty nooth gave a soprano •old and Vise Smith incited "When Company Comae to Our House." A quartet of members rendered several numbers while Mrs- Pearl Beeklnbach sang "I Love You." Rev. Norman Sargent, pastor of the Pint M. E Church, spoke on "Patriotism.” A group of minstrels from out of town put on several comic sketches, which were very well received end enjoyed by the audience. Mn. Vernon Smith gave e recitation followed by a piano duet played by Margaret Sipple and Peal Olbeon. Dr. J. Tbornley Hughes gave a vocal solo, followed by one by Mrs. William O. Schwarts. Refreshments, followed by dancing, completed the evening.

School Events At e recent meeting of the supervising principals and principals of Cape May^oounty schools. It was decided to dispense with the annual Cape May county tnteracholastlc track and field meet. The reason for this decision was that no suitable grounds could be obtained for the holding of this affair this year. The annual spelling contest foi the grade schools and English contest for the high schools will be held et Court House on Saturday, May S.
