Membership Drive May 19 Irving Fitch, Mayor of Sea Isle City, was nominated for president of the Cape May County Chamber of Commerce, at the meeting of that organisation in the P. O. 8. of A. Hail. South Seaville, last Thursday night. Nomination in this case to equivalent to election at the May meeting, In Avalon, aa there to no oppositlcj. Mayor Gilbert a. Smith, of Avalon, was nominated for re-elecglon as secretary and was unopposed. Dr. me Wsy, of Denntovllle and Sea - Isle City, was nominated for treasur, and was also unopposed. Luther C. Ogden, of Cape May, chairman of tbe by-laws committee, presented e new oonstltuUon for the organisation, and this will probably be adopted at the next meeting. The new constitution provides for active membership from organisation* rather than from districts, as now provided. Hafferi, chairman of the publicity committee, outlined the a for the booster trip, which starts next Sunday, April 2$. About thirty county business men will take this trip. Char lee Norton, of Wildwood, for the mosquito extermination committee, stated that under a new tow tbe Board of Freeholders can bond the county up to $200,099 for mosquito extermination work, the entire eounto to be surveyed and plans made for the work tb be done by contract at one time.
