New Building Ordinance (Held Over From La»t Week) WllHam Bach, of Atlantic City, was awarded the contract for furnishing and erecting an electrical elgn at the entrance of Sea Isle Boulevard, at Ocean View. HU bid was t41B- The new sign will contain 240 lamps. The sign to be erected within the next three weeks. Mrs. H. Coleman, who owns the ground on which the sign will be placed, rented the ground to the city for as long as they desired to use It for a nominal sum of 95 annually, as suggeeed by Solicitor Hildreth. Wants Mew Street Commissioner Maher stated that Charier Clouting requested a new street be opened to his development tract. This street would be a continuation oi Neptune Street. Solicitor Hildreth informed Commissioner Maher It would be necessary for the majority property owners to file a petition requesting this action, or if the property was owned by one person he could build the street according to the speciacatlons of the city and then dedicate It to the city. Referendum or Electric Plant Commission c. Maher suggested the dynamo In the electric plant, no longer In use. be disposed of. This ordinance specifies that all cars parked In the vicinity of the Boardwalk between House Street and Ariadne Street should be parked on the north side of the street only. All cars must be perked facing Landis Avenue and no car shall park within 60 feet of the Board-

Sea I-lc City Taxes Being Promptly Paid Tax collections In Sea Ue City are better this year than ever before. according to Tax Collector Edward B. Arnett, who states that of the taxes paid 70 per cent, have been paid In fuU. up to Saturday night, and the total taxes collected are 27 per cent, more than for the same period last year . This Indicates, according to Mr. Arnett, that people regard their real estate holdings in Sea lale City higher than ever before.
