5-.800 on it« payroll, a record for that plant. Highland Park still leads all plants with 65,800 employees, though this number Is considerably lower than the peek employment record of 1923, which was before the transfer of several thou&xud men to River Rouge when the motor assembly and crankshaft departments were moved there. Along with the steady Increase In employment In Detroit, due to greater production demands, there have been corresponding increases at domestic assembly plants until the employment rolls for these now show close to 44,000 employees.

long, sits a young man Just past twenty-five. Nine summers has seen him at this same job, In a department where he started work when just out of grammar school. Hope tor advancement seems futile, for he has reached his limit—through lack of training. Too old to learn, he thinks—too untrained to
succeed.
His is a “white-collar lob!”
Y OUR son must be trained to succeed in the business world. Only a college education will keep him from taking a back seat—from floundering into a “white collar job" of despair. Will he get chat education? Will he be that one boy in fifty? , . . "Yea,” you say "if Hive." But, suppose you pass out of the picture before your plans materialize, what then? There is but one sure plan to meet such contingencies. It is interestingly described in our booklet entitled "Jim Waring's Awakening." , 1
