Rate Reduction Effective June IS, 1925
The Atlantic City Electric Company takes great pleasure in the announcement of a rate reduction in all towns that it serves in South Jersey. In the District covering Beesley's Point, Seaville, Cape May Court House, Stone Harbor, Avalon, Dennisville, South Dennis and South Seaville this reduction amounts to 2c per kilowatt hour on business and residence lighting, making the base rate for all year lighting 18c instead of 20c and the season rate 23c instead of 25c. The delayed payment charge of 1c per K. W. hour on accounts not paid within ten days has been reduced to l /i cents per K. W. H. This voluntary sacrifice of thousands of dollars in revenue by the Lighting Company and consequent vast saving to its customers has been made possible by the economy of operation promised when the Company took over the many scattered properties in South Jersey and amalgamated them into a Superpower System. Further information concerning rates may be had at any of the Branch Offices.
