WILDWOOD'S FIREPROOF HOTEL

To Be Erected on the 'Boardwalk

Constructed of brick and Indiana limestone, the Hotel Philip Baker will have the most modem appointments possible in hotel building of the present day. The spacious lobbies, alluring sun decks, large ball roomconvention hall, and two hundred bedrooms, each with a bath, will all tend to give this community center the same position in Wildwood now enjoyed by the famous beach front hotels of other resort cities. Atlantic Gty’s remarkable growth is based primarily upon the famous beach front hotels which line it’s boardwalk, and the Hotel Philip Baker is certain to do for Wildwood what the Dennis, Traymore, Shelburne and others have done for Atlantic Gty. Wildwood cannot grow without year ’round hotels. Hotels cannot be notably successful unless they are modem. The Hotel Philip Baker will be the last word in hotel construction.

Construction Begins October 1, 1925—“Opens May, 1926
