J. Warren Lloyd Hurt in Auto Collision Spent a Couple of Days, in Bridgeton Hospital

Warren Uojd. of Sea City, was the victim of aa auto collision on the State road between Pole Tavern and Bridgeton, last Sunday afternoon, which sect to the hospital for a couple Mr. Lloyd. Mias Geneva Lloyd, Mrs. Elsie Poster and her two children, Helen and Harry, ell of Sea Isle City, bad been visiting Mr. Lloyd's son in Elmer. N. J.. and were returning home when a car going In the opposite direction collided with the Lloyd ear. Lewis Blumenfield. of Brldgetoh, was the driver of the other car. Mr. Lloyd was the only oue who was Injured. He was rushed to the Bridgeton Hospital where he was found to have A gash in his bead that required six stitches. The largest barn in Cape May County was recently completed. It is located on the county farm near Ope May Court House. The new barn not only U the largest but to probably the most modem in the country. It cost approximately 112.000. Charles Wills, the builder of the barn, was complimented by Lather Ogden. Director of the County Board of Freeholders, before It was accepted by the county. Director Ogden stated: * sliding should be the pridevery person Interested In county buildings, particularly the farmers who have exhibited n Interest In the county farm, workmanship and efforts that have been expended on this project are a credit to the builder." Freeholder Champion, who also Inspected the building, endorsed the statement of Director Ogden. The complimentary remarks of the Freeholders made an impression on Mr. Wills, who stated h: greatly appreciated the statements, particularly as both men were experienced In the building trade. Without question the bam to a juree of satisfaction to Freeholder Charles E. Foster. The county farm and Alms House come under his offlee. and he always has taken a great interest in the appearance and upkeep of the buildings as well na the manage-

That the last stretch of Main Seashore Road, from Cape May City to the Ocean City Boulevard, would be hard surfaced In the near future, developed at the meeting of the Board of Choeen Freeholders at Cape May Court House, on Wednesday, when resolution waa passed instructing the County Engineer to prepare plans and specifications for paving the stretch between Seaville and

Palermo.

The Main Seashore Road is a State road from Cape May north to the Tuckahoe road, at Seaville. and to all hard surfaced, but there to a stretch of about three mile* of county-owned road, which is still gravel, and connect* with the county hard surfaced portion of the Seashore Road at Palermo. The move of the Freeholders now Is to up thto gap. This stretch, from Seaville to Beeeley'i Point, wfll eventually also be part of the State highway system when the State builds the Somers Point to >•* Point bridge.
