Several hundred people attended the game and a large portion were Ocean City rootere, who cheered their team loyally. Doughty, Middle's stellar back, was easily the outstanding figure of the game. Tirae after time he threw opponents for looses or ao gains and several time* halted -unnere who broke loose for what looked to be long runs. Ills punting was good. Offensively he carried the ball for numerous gains, many of them substantial ones. He was literally In every play. Ray Sears was Middle's second brightest light, as the Orange and Black's two touchdowns will attest. But for Doughty’s work, however, neither touchdown would have been pos-

sible.

Gordon was Ocean City's star. The othev backfleld men played good games. In fact the entire team fought hard, but when they reached the second half they were up against s clever team that axhlbited a stronger attack and a stronger defense.
