Realtor Head Says Florida Has Helped Us
Do You Know?
Ewing Corson. Pmident of Beni Estate Board. Believes That Ocean City 7:fll Have Greatest Season
Southern Market Is Good
Ewing Comon. pivsiilm! .>f «ho Oeean City R«-al fc-'o' 1 | who reiurned to that city on ] Saturday, afi.r a irl|> through thf varioux ritlrs <.i Florida, in the company ol Clayton B. Robert, well-kno»n t.altor. atate* that the Northern people have the wrong Idea If they think that the real «Tiatr market of the Everglade State has coltapaed. •Things have nlowed up aomewhat In Florida, hut the market la all light and I believe will continue mi. I am told that the real estate offices did even a little larger business during January and February of this year than during the same period of ISIS. "A number of people in the North have attempted to condemn the real estate market of Florida. This is the wrong attitude, as Florida has had a good Influence on our Northern renortn. People are now spending their winters In the Southern State and making their home In Ocean City and the other New Jersey resorts In the «Uu^.er. People a*re now doing away with the maintaining of three hoi..<w and are keeping only their homes In the Northern resorts, where they spend most of the year and In the SoOthern State for the edder months. •The many development* In the vicinity of Ocean City and Atlantic City give ample evidence of the bringing ol Florida Ideas Into Northern real estate. Florida hasn't hurt us in any way and I think It has done some good. •The next three years will see Ocean City develop Into a rather lively city, but it is necessary for the Interest of the people to be kept up if this Is to happen soon. A nuatber of improvements for the city arc planned and If the people continue In their Interest and activity In securing these Improvcmen's. then Ocean City is bound to experience Its greatest season in 1926."
