Break Ground For Terminal of Cape May to Lewes Ferry
J. Spencer Smith, chairman of the Slate Board of Commerce and Navigation, turning over the first ground, with a gold spade, for the erection of a wharf of the pr-ipow-d new ferry from Cape May Point to Ix-wes. Del., at impressive ceremonies last Monday allernoon. This ferry, which was to have been a State project, has been taken up by a private concern, the National Navigation Company, of which Colonel Jesse Rosenfelu, of Baltimore is the head.

At the home of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Hymer. a bolt of lightning played weird and unusual trick* which seem Incredulous. About 8 P. M.. Mr*. Hymer wan resting on a cot in a room on the second floor, when a bolt of lightning, which apparently entered tbe house on the first floor, struck the cot on which she was resting, twisting tbe springs and setting Ihe ms Urea* on Are.
