■AXE VSE OF CIXAM UP WEEK Don't fail to make use of cleani week to improve the appearance af your hocae. It dktters not whether you live in town or country, there is plenty of work to be done to make your home more presentable to yourself, jour neighbor and the passer-by. It is true the designated time will have almost expired before these words reach the readers, especially those in rural sections, but there is no prohibition against extending the time, if improvements can be tde. Really there should be no necessity for a clean-up week and there would not he if each housend property owner did their full duty the whole twelve months, but as they do not it is to have ’art week set aside in the spring to rid the city of the 's accumulation of dirt and rubbish. Ptthy soon Cape May County's army of summer visitors will begin to make their appearance and the county should be ready to

this county today is the spring dran-up that will make Cape May County so dean that it will be a --pleasure to our summer
lag*, break or deatroy benehre] —becaum it Is bis property, and be must par the bill. A good citisen Is constructive. He knows that every sweep of tbe paint brush spreads sanitation, beauty and content. He knows that a well kept place attracts, bat s neglected place detracts. That paint and varnish are the natural guardians of property. A good citisen digs tbe dandelions from bis lawn. One pcst-ridden lawn will nilu a neighborhood. He plants flowers In his garden, and cultivates roses la the cheeks of bis children. He plants a tree—and takes, care of It’ after It has been' planted: he make* a home out of a house by plaatlng af rubs and vines and flowers about It.
THUTKS COUKTY HEEDS HOSPITAL A communication on another page echoes the sentimem expressed in the last issue of the Times that Cape May County needs a hospital. We are glad this idea has been taken up so quickly, r-en if by only oik man. If he spreads the feed m his travels some of it wtii be bound to fall on good grounth and will spring up and bear fruit, with the result that soon it will -become a topic of general conversation and when this happens sentiment will crystal ice and the movement can be pushed-in earnest. Of course Cape May Countyneeds a hospital. Let us have more expressions of opinion.
