Behold the dredge, ugly, squat, dirty; yet magic In Its abUity to create new cities, build millions of real estate values and make possible for countless thousand enjoyment of homes that but lor this dredge would not be possible. Every beat of lu throbbing engines sends sand up over waste land, and adds to the wealth of the community, county and nation by making this Und usable for human habitation. The dredge "Massey” is now pumping sand to fill in S;a Isle City Gardens, the new city within the city of Sea Isle City. What was formerly meadow land will soon be trans'ornied. t hrougb the magic of the dredge into a beautiful residential section. lined with graded ttreets sidewalks, curbs, and dotted with pretty homes. Another dredge will soon be making a similar change in the south section of Venetian Park. Such a dredge created Brigantine, a groat part of Ocean City and Wildwood, all ot Wildwood Gable*, and all of Slone Harbor. The present Venetian Park. high, solid ground is a monument to the dredge which created it from meadow land fifteen years ago. The school house and many pretty
homes are on this ground.
