C. A movement. Publicity like this always does much to stimulate an Interest In scouting throughout the two counties. T have Just returned with a group of boys. Including the Sea late City iioyi. from the first two week* of camp. Without doubt, this la the most succearful we have ever had in camp, and this *a my sixteenth year. I am very happy that the Rotary Club has taken such an Interest In cooperation alth the Rotary Club of Atlantic City In promoting camp. Club Boyd Debate Capital Punishment "Whether Capital Punishment Is the Proper Thing to Restrain Crime" was the subject for debate last Saturday evening ' the boys of Camp Cardinal Dougherty. The boys, who range from sz to IS years of age. surprised the directors and staff of the < with the arguments In favor of such punishment and tne manner In whleh the boys drev comparison between various exaea would have done older folks Justice. The boys, who apparently have | watched the handling of punlnhmeat in vavfous localities, gave Instance of the Loeb-Leopold, Chapman and Marshall cases li making their arguments forceful. The boys agreed that Uffi punishment would be proper If prisoners were put at hard labor and not pardoned after serving two or three years or teas.
