After tbe opening o: the December term of court on Tuesbefore eases were heard, with Supreme Court Justice Luther A. Campbell. Circuit Court Judge William F. Sooy and and Common Plea* Judge Henry Burt Ware, of Salem County, on the bench, former Judge James M. E. Hildreth, read the resolution on behalf of a special, bar committee extoling the late Judge Theodore W. Schimpf. who died on August 2S. last. A beautiful tribute wa* paid to tbe lat? Jurist. Judge Hildreth made a motion that It be adopted into the minute* cf the Court and that a certified copy ^e sent to ths jurist's widow. Former Judge Henry H. El dredge seconded Mr. Hlldreth'i motion. lie spoke In beautiful terms of the late Judge’* life and hi* association with him. saying that Judge Schimpf wa* free from all show of affection In every way In his position a* a jurist and a* a man.Justice Campbell. In a brief address, said that Judge dreth and Judge Eldredge covered the ground so well there w*a not much which he could add. He spoke of the opportunity he had of knowing and associating with the late Jurist and of being present when he was sworn in as Circuit Court Judge. He extoled his ability as a Jurist and as a man. He ordered the adoption of the resolution into the minute* of the court and that a copy be sent to the late Judge's

widow.

It is said that if he be found tally deficient, he will be mitted to some institution for treatment. About a month ago he lost his fight lo escape a sentence from five to ten years and a 81000 fine on a charge of criminal aault when the Court of Error* and Appeals approved the action of the Supreme Court in affirming Bullock's conviction. He wa* indicted along with his daughter. Mary. 21 years old. for the alleged crime. Eleanor E. Director Luther Ogden introduced a resolution In reference to the State's twelve-year road building program ’ so far as it concerns Cape May County, to be prerented to the State Highway Commission. The resolution, which covers every detail of our road problems, was adopted as the view of tbe board. The resolution, which follows, was also adopted by tb' Cape May County Chamber of Commerce at their meeting last night In Ocean City. Whereas. State Highway Engineer Major W. G.
