Here is an announcement that will be welcomed by

After a period of thorough renovation and improvement, the Strand Theatre. Ocean City, will open on Saturday. April the twenty-third. A new Wurlitzer organ that cost twenty thouaand dollars has been installed. This is the largest organ in Ocean Gty and in fact one of the largest instrumenU in the State. An ac complUhedi organist has been engaged and will preside at the console winter and summer, assuring the Strand patrons high-grade musk throughout the entire year. f my

Among the many additional improvements might be mentioned a new marquise, studded with a thousand light*, an enlarged lobby, new carpet, a more spacious foyer, new lighting equipment, the addi^on of 8 completely equipped stage for vaudeville, a new picture screen and the redecoration of the entire theatre, making the Strand an institution of which you. the folks interested in the progress of Ocean Gty, may feel justly proud. No expense has been spared to make the Strand attractive and the same policy was followed in securing pictures. Paramount and Metro-Goldwyn features, ^although more expensive than others, will have their first showinTat the Strand ‘ The com^a^‘shortTvT jects will be the pick of the market from Educational Film*. Personally. I am glad to be back in Ocean Gty again and hope to renew the many friendships made while associated with Faunce's Theatre. 1 also trust I may make many new friend, while at the Strand. Sincerely.
