Lightning Pranks Ughtnlng has a weii-ewmad reputation for at tlmea playing funny prank*. Most of the time they are probably more s'rsnge than funny anyway. "Who killed cock robin’* or ■ ime similar remark, said George Rea. a dairyman of Cape May. when he went to his barn last week and found his cow, sprawled around on the barn floor. It so happened that the State veterinarians who are testing cows In Ibe county had but a short time before injected the cows with tbe materia) which they use for testing. Quite naturally Mr. Rea pm "two and two” together and concluded that the kind of "knock-out'* dropa on his herd. Fortunately for tbState men. probably. Mr. flea soon found oul that the barn had been struca by a bolt of lightning, which bad temporarily stunned his cows.
