The State Highway Department is completing laying gravel along the highway through the com munlty. contributing added beau tjr to the thoroughfare. "Tuckahoe, the Beautiful.'’ seems to be the slogan of residents. as Is evidenced by the number of homes, lots and plots being bcautlAed. Realty Company Off n Factory Sites
That co-operation Is being given Tuckahoe In Its efforts to grow, was manifested last w In the announcement of Ho)instead Realty Company, who are offering factory sites. It is hoped that Industrial Arms will take advantage of the offer. Tuckahoe being Ideally located by the Tuckahoe River and enjoying excellent railroad facilities. Is prepared to take care of such factories.
Lighting Survey Ordered
The Township Committee, at a recent meeting, authorized a survey to tie made for lighting facilities In the Tuckahoe district. D Is believed that Turkaboe will have lights before the summer season is over, residents believing that lights are reeded.
Boy Scot!’.a Organize
A troop of Boy Scouts has been organized consisting of two patrols. There are eighteen boys In the troop. The troop, which was formed under the direction of Jewell Garrett, took the ’Tenderfoot" examination last week, all but one passing the test. Oltu Warren and Raymond Sharp are the patrol leaders.
