John W. Weacott former Judge of |be Court of Common i’l«a* of -Camaen County, and former Attorney General of Nt*w Jersey, died last Saturday at hi* home in Haddonfleld. after a long Illness. He waa 78 year* old. The deceased was well-known in Csp« May County having practlrefl much In the court* of this county. Judge Weacott had Buffered »Hh heart trouble for many monthi and underwent treatment in a Philadelphia hospital and Inter In Cooper Hospital. Camden. He recovered sufficiently eeveral tim«* to resume his law practice. bul lur some time had been confined io bi* home. He had been appointed Attorney General of New Jersey by Governor Fielder. In 1*14. and told President Wilson h.- wa* happy in that office Twelve years ago. Judge Weaeotl. Frank D. Weaver. Ethan P. Weacott and Ralph W. Weacott formed the law flrm of Weacott A Weaver. For many years previous to this. Judge Weacott and Mrs. Weaver had practiced law from the name office*.
