A BUSINESS MAN FOR BUSINESS JOB
Cape May County’* experience of recent year* has been that when it come* to promoting the public bustnev. it pays to have a business man to do the work. A continuation of this policy would therefore be but natural on the part of the people. There is no position in the county that calls i urgently for a business man than does that of Freeholder. Two of these officials will be elected this year, l^st week we cited the qualificatios of Luther R. Ogdi for another term in that offi and this week it gives us pleasure :•> set forth the good qualities of another man for that position. This nun is E. Lawrence Chalmers, of Wildwood. Mr. Chalmers is a young man, but he has won his spurs in the b'ninesworld and will biing to the Board of Freeholders and the administration of the affairs of the cm: the nowledge and experience gained in his fight for a standing in the business world. Composed entirely of busmeas men, Mr. Chalmers will fittingly occupy the seat which will be vacated by that other young business from /ildwood who is retiring on account of his health, Fostei
Godin.
reduce farm drudgery and to farm output. There
many ways in which electricity can be used to reduce time on the ‘farm and thereby give more time Ijto productive labor, which is the real business of the farm. If present rates are too high for this, then the company through it* engineers should make a survey of the field, get a line on the prospr. tivr business and are whether it is «-rough . i warrant a concession in price. We believe there is a virgin field here for the
electric company.
