CAPE MAY COUNTY TIMES. EMBAY. AUGUST 26. 1927.

COME EARLY for Peaches Every ripe peach was sold before sundown every day last week. For two days there was not a Cape May County grown peach to be had for love or money. There Are Not Enough Cape May County Peaches to Supply One-Tenth the Demand The few peaches brought from a distance are high in price, and plainly show the effects of premature picking and the jolts and bruises of travel. The Ocean View Farms have by far the largest orchards, and were frost-proof this year. The choicest varieties of freestones are ripening this week; two of the best are the famous Belle of Georgia, and the gigantic Champion - - as big as your fist and sweet as honey. Juicy Luscious Fruit, Sun - Kissed, Rosy - Cheeked and Picked With the Bloom Still on Them! You can buy them by the basket for less than a dealer can get them by the truckload.
