Nature's favorites held sway during l be ( ape May County Fair at Wildwood. The lieautlful Ocean Fler ballroom never held so great an assembly of wanders or such an array of wonders or such an array of "beauties." And never ha, a fair been so beautifully situated or so favored by nature and the elements. With three perfeet days of sunshine, thousand, of people came to visit the "Fair

Without a Fence."

No fairer fair could have been encased in such ideal settings. The ocean forming u background as lovely and unique as a picture, with its long, white centuating the colors loaned by

‘ 'r and Its visitors.

endless stream of eager people filled the locations of the exhibits. They came t unusual and they were not disappointed. They saw monstrosities of nature, they gazed at luscious fruits, at perfect poultry, plays of the work of man. They heard the "ballyhoo" men selling their wares. Tiiey stopped to admire some man-helping beast. They met their friends, their neighbors, all gathered together praise the fair and those w

made It possible.

And praise It needs indeed, lor never was there an achievement of Its kind so admirably managed

or so capably planned. Fine Produce Displays

Those who did not attend the fair, missed seeing a remarkable display of fhe products of Cape May county, especially Cape May County farms. The poultry display was quite large and included chickens of all varieties, turkeys, geese and ducks. There were also several displays of pigeons, rab-

bits and baby chicks.

The flower exhibit was large,

and truly beautiful. Particularly lanwaM hamtoome were the dab-

The quantity of la; nrev' e hown. Including vegetables, irutt.

jumpkins and potatoes far exceeded the expectations of those In charge of the fair, and the quality was such as to reflect great credit on Cape May County.
