There i» not another ortani/atioo in the country in «h«h there i> a more triendly rrlathimhip anvi tg indivulual mnnSrrt ami among loot! organizations than thete » in tin- Grange. Viaiting Granger* ahray* receive a mo*t hearty ami cordial uelconw Iran utter Granges. Member* <rf one Grange alnav* enjoy reading a Soot the activities of another Grange, eaprciallr those locateJ in tlieir own
■Hunt), or a neigh Soring count).
And besides, the members of one (irangr obtain a lot of helpful suggestions by reading about the activities ot some other local. This applies particularly to the Lecturer and Master, and certainly anything which helps them to formulate a better program, helps the Kganization as a v.holr. Furthermore, reading about the Grange not •mly stimulates attendance of members, but it a cm res an interest »n the work in the minds of prospective member*. And certainly . new members mean the life of any organization. For these reasons we have been partk ularly anxious to receive iepoils of the meetings of the various local Granges, yet wr must adn it that we have not been very successful in inducing the various l.s-,!- to send reports of their meetings. Several tlapc May County 1 irar.: have been very faithful about tending reports, however, wr han- not rccened one from Cumberland Count)'. We are willing i*kt ..ost of the btame about t)ie latter, because we have never dbectiy approached many Cumberland Granges about it. I -xerpt for tbe Grange Month!), this Farm Section goes into the two*-* of more Grangers than any otb-r one paper—State, county or i3t>ot:al—that is, in southern Cumberland County and Cape May County. Therefore six consider that it affords Granger* a wonderful importunity, one which would cost them considerable money otherwise, to five publicity to their Pomona meetings, picnics, regular meetings, •uppers, play* and general actimie* such as see are glad to give space in tbe Farm Section, where hundreds of Granger* have already i- me accustomed to looking for special items of interest concerning
rfc' Grange organization.
