Fires Keep Warden Busy
Fire Warden Ludlani Warns Gunners
Section Firewarden Allison Ludlam. of Swainton and Clermont. was called out last Saturday a week ago to extinguish a foreel fire a quarter mile north Of Goshen Station on the Reading BaiLoxd nnd again the following Sunday afternoon to combat a forest fire in the County House woods on the West side of the Shore Road. Bui for the prompt action of the public In informing Warden Ludlam of the fire* and their co-operation in helping extinguish them, they would probably have burned a much larger area as they were fanned by a Stiff northeigtt wind. Through promptness the fires were kept -mail, one burning one acre, the other two acre* of forest. These were the first fires In Section One of Cape May County la two months The fire at Gonhen was caused by a spark from a locomotive. The Battery Bargain Hunter
"In the battery business we find bargain hunters Just the same as In any other merchandtaing business." say* Sheppard. loeal Willard Battery dealer. "Few stop to consider the cause for the low prices, but see prices only.” The result is they are continually having trouble and the upkeep of their bargain soon eats up the difference in price. ' A battery to an automobile is just as important as pasteurized milk for a baby. Would you spare any expense in getting the best of milk obtainable? Of course not—It means the life of the child and builds up strength .or later life. Money spent at the start in both of these cases, is a careful investment and the cost of maintaining will be less later
Manufacturers of quality itorage batteries realize this mistaken feeling but refuse to sacrifice quality for price. Thfy are. however, able to offer. because of volume business. a better line of batteries at lower prices than ever before in their history—batteries In which low price is combined with quality.
