Mr. Durell spoke on tbe principles of Rotary as applied to education, and toid of his interest in Rotary since Its Inception twenty years ago. He saw. he stated, when this ‘'autocratic democracy" ol business men placed service above self, a thing that applied to education, to his mind, since the early days of his boyhood, when the teacner was an autocrat who ruled with a mighty hand and gave no special thought of service to his pupils.
