Distribution of Bulletins By Granges

The Granges ol the county can render

Station bulletins. It is an absolute fact that these little ix-«ilet> tain information of real value, ^et the? can be or no *er-.:cr i: Aey are not in the hand* of the people nbo nerd the mrormau-x: the?' contain. Of course, it is true that the Experimr-.- Station anc our Count? are glad to supply them when we mpjest t ebut there are man? Grangers who would use them to a grea*er extr-:r were they more easilv obtained, h urt hem wire, there are man. ' bulletins'available about arhkh many folks know little or no-"

so naturally the? - do not ask for rhem.

Our suggestion is that Granges provide shelves, a ra-* • - table some place -a the Grange hall, where the b.llrt ■ • be displayed a number of copies of each Lind bring ker; Befoie the opening of the Grange, or atter ci<wng. n-- her- •>-- - look over the supply of bulletins and sriect copies ot f »h-,-n interest them. When the supply of am bulletin w :-irteti. the

Secretary could write for more.

We feel confident that any Grange officer w J1 agree teat ' the carrying out of this suggestion would be a real service to tNr members of their Grange, if they would say in the:- l ountv A.-- • - office »mr tune and look over the numerous bullet:; - he has ro^j distribution and note the valuable ami interesting inrsmamr * l — contain. It is hardly Hkdy that any Grange would v ant al! kinds that the Count? .Agent has. however, am C•range t handle at least a few of those in whuh their members are

likely to be mtrrested.

It would be best to arrange through vuur Covmty Agent tor obtaining the bulletin*. No doubt he would appreciate knowing just how nutn were distributed dur ing the courw of the year. Puribh fie could arrange ‘or the Seretaty to write to the Experiment Station for h.lb-tin needed from tune to time, as this would be rao— direct. We firmly believe the idea is well worth a trial.
