A voice appealed to Jake to tow a car from Somers Point. Jake dressed and then searched high and low In Somna iPnlnt without result for the "broken down" car. Returning to the resort the lunch wagon boys handed Jake the razsberrles for going on a "Never mind." «»id Jake, you might want me come lime.” Early Saturday morning Jake got a franctlc call from Ventnor to tow a smashed car home. And he proceeded back to bed after carefully leaving the receiver off the hook to avoid further annoyance.

Continuing the policy of keeping Its engines up to tbe latest developments In engineering, the Oakland MoDr Car Company this year has equipped the New Series Pontiac Six with the pump-feed type of fuel supply. This with the O. M. R. cylinder bead, a new carburetor and Improved manifolding. brings to the Pontiac Six new advantages In economy, reliability and performance. Flood of the engino ta guarded against, lucl supply is conserved and easy starting ta Insured. Exactly the amount of gasoline needed ta provided by the new fuel pump, which ta driven directly from the cam shaft. Thus, when the starter first turns over the motor, just the required amount of gasoline is forced Into the carburetor. Then In lue carburetor an Ingenious device automatically shuts off the gasoline when the proper quantity has been Injected, preventing 3oodlng The gasoline pump ta of exactly the same type as was Introduced by the Oakland All-American Six. The carburetor ta of an entirely new vertical type, built especially for tbe Pontiac Six. and embodies two distinctive features—the Venturi Choke and the Internal Economizer.
