These dories are eijuipped with engine* of from four to eight hor*e-po’ aome are capable of making a speed of almost fifteen miles an hour. The llshermen lift the net* early in the morning, take their haul* aahore, Iuick the fish in iee and ship them to the cities, getting them into market
before noon.
The landing times for the dout* are always a source of great entertainment to the visitor*, w ho gather in great crow ds along the beach.

Death of Noah Hand From Monday's "Star and \yave,"Noah Hand, aged seventy-eight year* died on (Sunday rooming at 3.SO o'clock at the residence of hi* son A W. Hand, on Perry street. He had I serious attack of illness on Frida.' afternoon and became unconuciou* that evening, remaining no unUl death. He suffered no pain and passed away peacefully. He had been afflicted for several year* with a chrotMc nervous trouble. The funeral will occur on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, aerv ices at the house.
