Terrible Accident Happens

A terrible accident occurred atBoulh Dennis, ihis county, at an early hour on Friday morning last, when Mr*. Ingarnoll was so terribly burned that she died a few hours later. Mr. Ingeraoll and a neighboring relive had been out flshinff during the night, and upon their return Mr*. Ingenoll set ubout preparing a breakfast for them, which was about 3 a. m. Using a gasolene stove for the cooking, she iiaf a lighted lamp upon tbe range nearby, which w as covered w ith paper. Th* lamp tilled, set fire to the paper, and in Mr*. IpgersoH's attempt to right the lamp and extinguish the burning paper, her clothing -took fire and she was frightfully burned before her husband, who quickly responded to her scream*, could rescue her from
the flame*.
A physician was Immediately sent for, and neighbors came to aid the physicians in doing all that was possible to aUeviate her suffering*. Mm. Ingeraoll lingered in great agony until n p. pi Beside* her husband two chi idran survive nar. She was tbe daughter of Mr. and Mm. Adney Hickresiding nearby. She was but twenty five yearn of age. Tbe community is stricken with deep sadness over tbe terrible affair. The funeral oecurred on Balurday n-orning from her late residence in ErIngemoli has the sympalhg of the community and of a number «f friendy of himself and wife over his great loss. The mother is survived by vwo small children.
