It is a study of Brow n, therefore one finds himself in a "Brown study when contemplating this particular subject of Uie Brownies. It is a cheerful study—because every' feature of It i> a pleasant one. First, there is cue of the prettiest, wsiest of Ullte power boats In the Cape May waters about the famous old "8ktl‘ link’s'' Landing,'-ow ned by Mm. Elizabelh Brown of North Broad street, Philadelphia. It was a happy thought which gave to the UtUe pleasure craft the name “ffroWnie " Second—there are the two really charming daughters Miss Alicia Brown and Miss Elizabeth or “Baade” Brown, who, with their devoted imiKher, so frequently enjoy the delights and the healthfulnes* of the little cruises afforded them. Third e cannot fail to have the fresh, highly tinted coloring upon the brow ned cheeks of Ihe fair occupants^ gained, partly in the sounds, partly upon the strand at bathing time. Tbe young ladies are immensely i*>i>ular in all Cape Mgy’s most fashiBnable summer circles, and are great faorites at leading hotel functions.
