Judge Hildreth Upheld The Supreme Court of the State of New Jersey, has handed down an opinion affirming the decision of Judge Hildreth of the Cape May Common Pleas Court, wherein the Judge directed the vlrdlct In favor of the Confress Hall Hotel Company. Which ximpany waa the defendant, in about tevemy suits brought by Edward Har ris and other* who were employed at Congress Hall in the Hummer of 1897, under Edward K. Cake. This suit aa* been pending for eleven year* in the courts, and they based their :lalma against the Hotel Company upon the ground that Cake at the time wa* running the hotel on the percentage basis, and that the hotel company waa therefore liable for their wages. The aggregate amount of waxes was about $7000.00.
